I was told by a beauty consultant yesterday not to use make up wipes, only cleanser and toner because wipes dry out your skin. I've used them for years and never really noticed a problem...

They're alright for a quick fix but you shouldn't replace a proper cleanser with them as it won't get all the makeup off. Also always use moisturiser after using them too. I think some people forget that which is why some experience a drying sensation,

I don't use make up wipes at all because most brands have a high alcohol content in them that can be very bad for your skin overtime. You may not notice any affects yet but you will in time. Try switching to a proper cleanser and toner for a month and I promise you will notice how good your skin looks :)if you absolutely must use them rinse your face with water and use a moisturiser.

If you've never had any problems, why stop using them? I'd still suggest cleansing your face after, though..they definitely don't clean it right!

I agree with the girls! But if you must use them, like Renay said, Cleanse your face right after!

Obviously the beauty consultant would know best, but if they're not causing you any problems then I don't see a problem as long as your moisturizing after.

I think that's dumb honestly. As long as you're doing everything correctly, then you'll be fine.

I say keep using the makeup wipes. If they don't dry up your skin then why change? Just keep using it. Oh and I would get the olay fresh effects. They don't dry up and they smell great.😊

It probably depends on your skin type. I have oily skin and I use facewipes. I love that they make my face feel more dry, but that's just me.
