I have really thick hair and I can do my whole head with a wand in 20 minutes! I think the curls are prettier and it's so much easier to do

Well, I've curled my hair with a 1 inch thick foot long straightener for almost 4 years. Lost count of how many times i had to do friend's hair for them because they loved it so much. It lasts all day, hairspray or no hairspray. Wands do a great job, but my inch thick iron is my best friend. It's been there through high school, graduation, dates, job interviews, etc.

Iron makes for limper curls. If you need body around the face, go wand. But go for a big one that doesn't get small at the end. How you roll the hair determines the curl. It depends how you want the hair to look.

Wand or use a straightening iron u can make different curls with a straightener and it helps me make different curls with one tool easily and I have thick hair and it only takes about 10 min
