So I placed my first order from Alt on Monday, it was late morning when I submitted it. When I checked this afternoon after getting off work it still has not shipped. Is this normal?

Yes. I've placed orders and sometimes they don't ship for a week and half. I'd wait till Monday evening and if it still hasn't shipped you could always email customer service. But ulta is pretty autonomous for slow shipping.

I ordered from them on cyber Monday and it jusT got shipped today which is pretty annoying because I probably won't get it for another week.
