Depends on your hair and on the heat protectant you use, but once or twice a week should be fine. good luck with growing it out :)

The less you use heat, the healthier it'll be. Personally I like to have one week a month where I use heat on my hair, also it helps a ton if you let your hair air dry :)

I agree with the girls less heat the faster and healthier it will grow and when you wash it let it dry naturally don't use a blowdrier:)

As less as you can
I recommend that you wash your hair about 2 times a week and sleep with it in a braid so that's you hair styled for the next day and they you can use a hot tool to perfect it th3 day after that
I usually keep my hair straight
I wash it at night and comb it with a very thin comb straight (I comb it with a larger brush before I wash it to I lose less hair due to tugging) and then sleep in it
My hair is straight (not pin straight obviously ) in the morn and also much less dry than if I left it to dry in the day time
