I agree, exfoliating really helps take off the dead skin. I usually use a combo of brown sugar and coconut oil and scrub my lips gently. Fresh makes a sugar lip scrub as well.

Also I love the rosebud lip salve to Moisturize and protect my lips. They are a godsend!

Since you said home remedies, you can put some brown sugar into some coconut oil and make a homemade lip scrub. I have a store bought one that is pretty much that, anyway. It's nice this time of year because the coconut oil will go on solid and melt into your lips, making less of a mess.

I like using cinnamon and honey mixed together :) The cinnamon exfoliates and makes your lips plump and full.
