I tried doing pincurls in my hair but although they looked pretty, the curls didnt last for longer than 3 hourse. my hair is like that so I'm used to it.

I curled my hair and put it up in bobby pins. I let it rest loke that for about 2 hourse and sprayed on some hairspray. although they don't look like the old holywood pincurls I wanted, the curlyness I still liked :) here are before and after and process. first up is my natural hair texture

Very pretty...my hair does the same no matter how much hair spray I use lol.

Pretty! But the curls have to be really tight to achieve that curl and rest overnight usually, and also has to be set with something a little heftier than hairspray. I usually use a gel like Deva Curl, but a mousse would even work if you're worried about that build up gel might do.

It'll be tighter and last longer :)
