Elf sells something like it, and I really like it! don't know if you can compare to it though as I have never used fix+ I've also heard eye drops work just like it, and I think someone on here did a homemade version of it I can't remember who though sorry

I haven't tried the Mac fix+ but have tried the ELF one. It does a decent job at taking away the "powder face" look. It might be worth trying if you're interested since it's only like $3 at Target.

If you are just looking to use it to make your shadows more pigmented you can use eye drops instead

The recipe Giselle is talking about is just aloe Vera and water! One part aloe Vera to 4 parts water. You can use rose water instead or distilled.

I used the NYX matte setting spray to moisten an eye shadow this morning and it worked. The shadow was darker and didn't fall out. It didn't ruin the pan of shadow either. Hooray.
