How to know what Urban Decay Palette is best for me?

It all depends on preference :) I only have the 1 and 3. My favorite is the 3, the naked 1 has some really pretty bronzy colors but I feel they can kind of run together when you use them. To be honest, I don't think I would recommend any of the naked palettes. Instead, I'd recommend the Kat von D monarch or chrysalis palettes, or the lorac pro palettes.

It depends on what you like and what makeup looks you do the most. I personally prefer the original and naked 2 palettes just because I'm not really into rose gold tones. you can easily get a lot of use out of the 1st and 2nd since they are more neutral colours for everyday makeup looks.

I would go for the naked 1 if you are a beginner. I think it gives you the most versatility to create different looks. You can do a nude eye, a bronze eye, a gold eye, a taupe eye, and a smokey eye and the layout makes it simple. I do however prefer the packaging of the naked 2 and 3 palettes better because it is sturdier and easier to clean. If you are looking at ud though, I would totally go for their new vice 3 palette. It has lots of neutrals and easy looks. It is kind of organized by columns. It also has very trendy colors to mix in.
