I don't normally wear eyeshadow or contour but I was just a bit curious, since this is new to me. Is it too much?

No you did it really well so it all goes well together. I'd love to know what products you used because it looks so great :)

To be completely honest your eye makeup looks wonderful but the contour nose and high light is seen right away and looks bruised on the sides. You have the idea down but you need a color that best suits what your aiming for and blending is key.:-)

The contouring + blush could be blended more. you have beautiful eyes though, the makeup compliments them well.

One of the best tips when trying something new like contouring and highlighting is to go outside and take a picture face forward and side ways.If you see it it needs blending if you see any other color that does not mimic a actual shadow projection you need a actual contouring sculpting powder.:-)

That's amazing!! I agree with Alma, you could blend it out some more but other than that, it is gorgeous!

The eyes are perfect!! However I think the cheek contour is a little too dark, it isn't blended. I'd try more blending and some blush to help with the color transition.

Your eye makeup is ON POINT. You did a professional looking job on your eyes. Great job. I do see what the above ladies mean about your cheek contouring. It is a wee bit harsh and unblended. Try this. I use a fan brush to swipe contour powder on the hollows of my cheeks. Then I blend it out with a small fluffy brush. It's easy for me when I do it that way. And in the picture it looks like you got a wee bit too dark with the contour on the sides of your nose. But girl! Those eyes are striking and I'm impressed. They look amazing.

It's really nice but just blend underneath the cheek and it'll look more flawless.

Thank you so much ladies! I spent forever doing my eye makeup. I was having difficulties with my contouring. I couldn't decide if it was too much, or too little. But I think it was the lighting in the room I went into that made it look "too little" of it and probably why I went a little over board with the contouring. But after I took this photo, I did notice my nose and fixed it somewhat.

I love it. It is only too much if you feel it is too much. There are no rules to makeup. Rock it however you feel like.
