I'm currently using the urban decay naked skin foundation which I really like.. But it shows the dry areas of my skin and doesn't seem to be working for the cold weather. I'm looking for something with a similar formula and coverage that won't leave me dry or oily. Any ideas?? :)

I use a hydrating serum, dermalogica moisturizer and tarte bb primer... Do you recommend any specific hydrating primers? I have to be really careful about what I use because my skin is sensitive. I try to stay oil-free.

Sandra- I am dry on the forehead and cheeks but my tzone gets oily throughout the day. What exactly is that? Is it a primer or a moisturizer??

Alexis- I've actually used that primer before and I wasn't very impressed. It acts exactly like the hydrating serum I have.. It absorbs too quickly

It looks oil-free to me, I saw that the first ingredient is water which is good.. I might pick order it and try it out since it is pretty affordable.

@alexis I have it, the full sized bottle and it dosent do all it claims to do, it dosent take away redness and does not hydrate to much, this product would not help brandy, this could help more as in setting your makeup or to add a little hydration to the face but its not a problem solver type of product more like a helper

@alexis may I ask if the products you recommend are based on other peoples reviews or mentions like the b6 or cuz you actually tried the product?

Ohh like the girls here in beautylish suggesting stuff and giving there opinion ok got it, may I suggest you giving those people you here it from credit cuz the problem is that when you speak on others experience and claim it as your own people think that you actually used the product or have it and then when they get asked about it they get stuck as was the case right here and then mis information goes around, sorry if I come out as rude.

Ohh well I have seen you speak on what others have said here so I thought you ment beautylish ladies too, regardless give people credit instead of claiming it as your own cuz it only makes you look bad

@alexis your not fooling no one, and it does make a person look bad, beautylish is a place to learn its not a competitoon to see who knows it all so there's no need to fake to know everything, it really irritates me when people recommend things they don't know of cuz it sometimes gets people to go waste there time and money to buy it and find out its a fail the least you can do is give credit to the person so we can go ask the person that actually knows about it, and it does seem like you pick things randomly cuz if you didnt you wouldnt have recommended the B6 cuz it would do nothing.

Oh dear. I feel badly how this involved into upset. I think Alexis was just making an attempt to be helpful. It's common for people to suggest an item other Beautylish members use. I don't see the harm in saying, "Hey, my friends dig this and I read about this new product, etc" as long as they are honest in that they have not personally tried it. :/

Brandy...to date my favorite dry skin foundation is Make up Forever's Face & Body. It isn't full coverage, but it never sticks to dry areas, looks cakey, or dries my face. It is a satin finish..slightly dewy, but very natural. You might want to ask for a sample if that sounds like what it is you are seeking.

I've always been interested in the face and body foundations also! I might have to go try a sample. I've heard about the b6 spray also, but I'm afraid it would irritate my skin due to the high alcohol content.
