I recommend getting a matte top coat because if allows you to mattify the polishes you already own. I have two suggestions, one is on the low end price wise, and the other is a bit higher. The low end is Matte me crazy by NYC and it costs $2. The other is Mind Over Matter by formula X for sephora. They are both great top coats! Obviously the more expensive one works better, but the NYC is still a good option :) hope this helps!

I have Bourjois to coat, it works really well! You can use steam or cornstarch to make a regular nail polish matte :)
