1. this got rid of mine: dilute lemon juice with either water or cucumber and use it strictly on the scars so you don't irritate your skin. contrary to popular belief, lemon is very good for all sorts of things, including skin care and acne! :)

3. haven't tried it BUT it's for scarring: mederma cream

About the lemon: that's why I said to dilute it. Watered down lemon can't be worse than the amount of salicylic acid or peroxides in washes and medication.

I'm not trying to be rude, I've also seen a dermatologist who didn't see an issue with it, and she prescribed me washes that burnt my skin and did more damage than a fruit, that's how we figured out I have sensitive skin.
I personally don't see an issue with diluted lemon.
Another thing to try is cortisone for soothing. That's helped me too.
