Recently I stopped using liquid foundation because everyone I used just did nothing for my oily skin. I'm looking for a good foundation with full coverage because I always have spots. I had the Mac studio fix fluid and I literally hated it, I though it would've been ideal as it's meant to me oil free and I have extremely oily skin but after applying it would look all like gooey and blotchy? Recommendations?

I use the FIT ME foundation from maybelline with some powder. I love the powder because it makes my face more matte then if I didn't use it.

Wow, thanks for being so helpful Gabriella😊 I actually have the maybelline fit me powder but I've never seen the maybelline mineral powder, I don't know if they sell it over here in the UK. I might have to check out that maybelline fit me foundation though:) And would life be easier if we only had one pimple😂

P.s. I know the fit me foundation doesn't work good on oily skin my sister has tried it (oily type) and her face looks like a disco ball. Even on me with dry skin by the end of the day it slides off. But go ahead try it(:

Honestly if you're looking for full coverage when you have oily skin I would stay away from the fit me foundation as I find it barely covers anything and doesn't stay put for more than 3 hours! If you're looking for great coverage and long wear definitely check out Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation! A little goes a long way and it looks really natural even though it's very full coverage! I first didn't care for this foundation because it didn't have a pump but I got one at Mac and now it's my holy grail! Definitely give it a try Becky! 🎀 Ellen.

Thanks girls, because both of you have recommended the Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation and said such good things about it I think I'm going to check it out next time I go shopping, I might ask for a tester first and then see what it's like. Thanks again!😘

Another foundation is revlon color stay! I have never tried it but I heard it's supposed to stay on all day and it's also supposed to be matte. If you want to know more there is a video on beautylish called something like covering acne with foundation and when you first click videos just scroll down a little and it should be there!

I love my loreal true match lumi! It's medium-full coverage, definitely buildable, lasts a long time, comes with a pump! (: I also top that off with my rimmel stay matte powder which works wonders for my skin!

Are you absolutely determined to stick to liquid? Maybe, being on the oily side, try a mineral foundation? Being a loose powder formula you can still build up to a fuller coverage if that is what you're looking for. I usually suggest trying Bare Minerals Matte foundation, helps control the oils a little more, followed with a corn starch based finishing powder like Mineral Veil. Also great for your skin in general. Should help prevent breakouts as well. Just an idea incase you're open to more than just liquid :) good luck love!

Janina, I actually have a Bare Minerals set (I'll add a picture), I got it for a present maybe about 2-3 years ago and if I'm being honest I've never used it because, I know this might sound a bit weird, but I hate changes and I've always been a bit sceptical about changing from my liquid foundation to just a powder. I don't really know how to use the bare minerals foundation, because in the set it comes with lots of powders in lots of different colours. Have you used Bare Minerals before?
