I love love love love doing that! I lost a lot of weight over the summer and all of my old shirts were too big and I did different things for over 14 shirts. Always been a sucker for DIY's.
I'd enjoy seeing that on here :)

Great! I've always wanted to but never thought anyone would be into it. But now I see more and more questions from people wanting to tailor their clothes so I thought why not see if someone wants to know how. It's so easy and fun and pretty soon you can have a wardrobe that no-one can imitate! I'll definitely get on it (:

Could you do a tutorial for a shirt like this? I needed some plain tops for a pair of pants I had and I didn't realize how awkward this neckline is so...

I'm so happy omg :,) I'm on it, if you ladies can give me a few days so that I can get everything underway, I will not disappoint!! @Olivia what do you want done to the shirt?
Oct 30, 2014
Mari F.
Also if you ladies can be specific, like what you would want shirts to look like, for example: halter, tube top, sleeveless ect. I can also do a "making any pants skinny" tutorial, "making a purse out of jeans" anything really. Just please give me a few ideas, I would like to have something for everyone.

Ah Mari, I am so glad I found this thread! What you did with that shirt is seriously everything! I really would like to know how to do that, the most I've done with tailoring clothes is transforming a pair of jeans into cutoff shorts lol. Personally, I'm really into strapless shirts (like what you have pictured) or the shirts that have larger armholes in them. Can't wait for the tutorials!
