You can add a belt or get it altered or you can hold on side of the dress then the other hold them together & pin it

Do you only want the middle smaller? or the whole dress? And are there seams on the side? I can't tell.

Put the dress on inside out, and put safety pins on in a line as if that's where you were going to sew it. If not the belt idea is great, and if all else fails I'm sure you can find another dress (: good luck!

I would pin it, but not on thr back. pin half on one inside try and see if you can do it trough the inside, and then do the same on the other side. if you do pin on back then for sure add a belt to cover the pins.
