I need stage make up but I have pretty good skin and don't wear makeup much so I'm not going to spurge on some foundation. What are your opinions on it and how well do you think it would work for my stage makeup.

I don't think that a tinted moisturizer is going to work well for stage makeup. Firstly, you'll be under stage lighting, and secondly it is likely there will be flash photos taken. The Nars tinted moisturizer contains SPF, and in my experience, SPF causes problems when under bright lighting and with the camera. If you do end up going with that, I would strongly suggest powdering your face to prevent shine. I think a better option for you would be a lightweight foundation.

And also can you recommend any good but inexpensive drugstore brands for dry skin?

Well, I personally really enjoy the Revlon Colorstay foundation. They have a line for dry skin, so I'd recommend you check that one out :)

I have really dry skin & my favorite foundation by far is definitely the loreal true match! So beautiful & flawless 💕 it works wonders! It's medium-full coverage depending on how much you wear, but it you get less product on you might be able to pull off a light-medium coverage! I like full coverage, but that's just me (: it's a great foundation! Definitely recommend you check it out (:
