So I have very curly hair (shown in my profile pic) and I'm so lost! I now know that it isn't healthy to wash your hair every day, and a friend recommended washing it every other day. Does that work? And if it does, how do you get your curls to look curly and not gross on the second day? They tend to be dry and brittle. Please help

I could go deep with the details....I'm a natural myself and its all about trial and error. The dry brittle feeling is due to the fact that your hair is craving moisture. I was my hair about once every three days. I do a lot of wash n go's that last for a long time because I finally got my product mix right. I rely on spray oils and aloe vera to stretch my styles beyond day two. The brands that I have in rotation are... As I Am, Shea Moisture and various oils that I buy from the health food store to seal my ends. I also stay away from shampoos that contain sulfates...I find it drying for my hair. Let me know if you need more detailed advice. :)
