The only way to truly close your pores is to have a skin care regimen that will clear all the dirt, black heads, and bacteria out of them. I struggle with the same thing. I've used The Body Shop Seaweed Clay Mask and it's reduced my pore size to about half. A lot of people swear by pure salicylic acid to rub over you problem areas and it might help. Pore filling primers will also help with the look of them.

I've been doing this rutine once a week where I boil water and salt and hold my face in the steam. It opens up the pores and gives "them" an opportunity to get cleansed and "refreshed" :)

After washing your face put some baking soda in your hand and mix with water until you get a paste then put it on your face without scrubbing and let it sit for 30 seconds and then rinse with cool water. Do this daily. For a facial use baking soda and orange juice and combine until a paste let it sit for 15 minutes rinse with cool water and moisturize with an oil free lotion. Hope this helps it did wonders for me!
