Hey loves, I'm thinking about getting extensions put in. Any recommendations as to what kind? Any tips and tricks would be lovely! I'm thinking about the cold fusion ones? I think 😊

I have tape ins and they are my favourite out of any method I've used. I have used clip ins and micro loop in the past. I like tape ins for the permeant aspect of it (you just get them touched up once a month) and I feel they're less damaging than clip ins. However, they are high maintenance. If you're used to extensions and wearing them on a very regular basis I recommend tape ins.

I've Never had extensions before, but o don't think clip ins would be good for me lol. How much did it cost once a month to get touched up?

If you've never worn extensions before I personally don't recommend a permeant method since it is a lot of upkeep and it takes a while to get used to. Clip ins are good to get use to and they're a way cheaper method. It would suck to pay all the money for the tape ins to not like the up keep. The prices will vary based on the brand and the extensions. Where I live, it's crazy! But you can purchase the tape and remover yourself to get a friend to help you refit.

I have a sew in with extensions and love it! It can last up to 3 months depending on how often you take care of it.

I've read that sew in can cause a lot of damage and breakage to the hair and is mainly recommended for people with coarse, unruly hair with a texture they don't like

Jenna, anything can cause damage and breakage if you don't take care of it properly. Sew ins are for anybody that want them whether they have curly, straight, fine, coarse or any other texture of hair. Just because I get sew ins don't mean I don't like my hair texture...

I agree with you Brittany, I wear sew ins, clip ins and other type of extensions, all depending on the occasion and how long I have to do my extensions...
Anyways Katrina, it would depend on how long you're looking to keep the extensions on you, for long term sew ins and short term clip ins but that's my opinion

The Luxury For Princess clip in extensions are the best imo. I've tried many brands, but these ones are the best so far. Super thick, almost no shedding or tangling and a great customer service. They currently have a discount code for the girls who are interested, it's: imane.
