It does look great!! I kind of like the first better, I like the rosa tones so much!
We just got the first on in Denmark so I'm finally getting it :)

There are some shades that closely resemble a few from the first palette. Pink Sugar is pink yuckiness, Blueberry Swirl is a blueberry disappointment. Other than that I think its a beautiful palette. The first palette leans more on the purple side with some of its shades while this one is more on the neutral side. I love my first chocolate palette and been wearing the mess outta of it. I'm kinda bummed out just a lil with the semi because when I looked into my stash for dupes...I found a dupe for just about every shade.

@Shelley would you recommend this to someone who has almost no eyeshadows/palettes? I really want a nice high end palette to start my eyeshadow collection but I don't know what to try. Recommendations?

Well there went that idea. I was trying to convince myself I wanted it haha thanks shelley. @mallory I'd go lorac pro. You'll probably hear that a lot but it's certainly the one I'd choose if I could only have one!

@Mallory...either one of the chocolate palettes would be great if you're just starting out with eyeshadows. What I like about Too Faced is that the shadows are pretty easy to work with. Mind you...you won't receive insane pigmentation at first application which will allow you to take your time and build it up to your desired look. I know when I first started taking eyeshadow seriously I had a hard time working with the more pigmented/intense shades from other lines and was quickly discouraged. Another line...my beloved Bobbi Brown. She has some beautiful neutral shades that are easy to work with though I would tread carefully with her eye palette exclusives and just stick with getting singles if on the fence about a particular palette (she has some hit n misses in that department).

@Maggie...if the semi keeps lingering in your heart and mind go ahead and get it. But between my daughter and I we have enough eyeshadows that will outlive us and any other family that proceeds us in death. Its pretty frustrating to say the least. But I always follow the mantra...if I go to sleep thinking about and wake up thinking about it then I might as well go get it. ;)

#Mallory I would go for the original chocolate bar. It's colors seem to flatter just about everyone and with all the tutorials available they'd be pretty hard to make look terrible even for beginners:)

@Shelley haha I think your mantra convinced me to blow my measly holiday week paycheck on the Naked on the run HA!

Out of the first chocolate bar palette and the semi sweet palette I prefer the chocolatr bar the semi sweet one is nice but that pink color is hell to work with it gets thos slippery film that makes it impossible to work with and on top of that it is chunky none of the shadows in my choloate bar palette have gave me that problem, here's a review on the semi sweet palette I did in case ir interested to read it

Mallory I would suggest getting the LE palettes that grab your attention since you won't be able to get them in the future, la bella carousel is beautiful and has blushes shadows and a mascara
