Hello there,
I received the eyeshadow kit pictured below. Everyone knows I'm a crazy makeup lady and I always receive makeup for xmas and my bday. I really hate exchanging gifts. However, I really dislike this palette. Is it only me or do I never have luck with sephora eyeshadow? It literally doesn't show up when I swatch it... I also don't wear eyeshadow often anymore. Did anyone receive this too? Opinions?
Now, I'm wondering what I should get. I don't need foundation or concealer. Is there something I should try? I have so much already so I'm lost. I'm open to a lot. This costs 29$ but I can add on. Thanks for all your help

Hmm, for about the same price you could get a really nice lipstick :) I could definitely recommend some brands/colors if you'd like, what sort of shades do you like to wear?

Thank you Hannah, I would love to hear your suggestions for a lipstick. I'm more of a neutral girl though, especially on lips. I own colors but I never reach for them. Are there any brands you recommend?
And Maria thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately my sephora only carries three shades:(
Are there any palettes I should look into? I own a few neutral palettes and I would love some color:)

Too faced palettes are my favorite! They're a few dollars more but absolutely worth it :)

So sorry girly, I was on an airplane. Check out Hourglass lipsticks, they're $30 and they're GORGEOUS. Such a nice, shiny and long lasting formula. As for palettes, the new KVD Innerstellar palette is my favorite palette as of right now. It's neutral, sort of, but it's cool toned and has two purple shades and a really gorgeous frosty blue shade that I can't get enough of. It's $46 but it's seriously amazing. I have a full review on it if you'd like.
