I would just go to a hair stylist and show them the picture and ask them to do it because it looks kinda difficult and its better to spend the money at a salon than risk messing your hair up :-)

My mother works at a hair salon and she said that I can't go from brown to blond but I see much people from brown to blonde so its not an option for me to go to a hair stylist haha.

You'll definitely have to bleach your hair to achieve lighter hair. But to go from a darker color to blonde is risky since you can bleach your hair and be left with almost orange hair.

Yeah thats my problem I don't know if my hair colours orange when I go to a lighter hair colour..

I went from brown to blonde I got highlights to start with only get a few and add more in! I only went to a dark blonde so my hair wouldn't get as much damage, if you go to a salon get them to cut a snip of your hair and see how your hair would take to the dye or bleach! X

Depends how dark your current brown is and what undertone your hair is pulling right now (red or ashy) if your hair is on the lighter side and the ashier side you should actually be able to do it in one session. (I have) with bleach, after that you'd had to either; tone it or find a dye of your choice. Also with bleaching a good protein filler would be useful so your hair would hold the colour better. If it were a dark brown though it'll take a lot more work to eliminate the brassy colours dark hair has.

You need to bleach it and then tone it if its brassy/ orange you can use a purple or blue toner depending if it is more yellow or more orange. You also could use a colored shampoo like a purple to slowly remove some brassyness. Do not bleach it twice.
