I'm growing tired of my beauty blender and sheering my foundation I am looking to get the most coverage that my foundations have to offer but my bb sheers everything leaving my freckles and acne even with concealer they show. I have a flat top kabuki and a buffing brush. I'm not all for the foundation brush it freaks me out a little lol.

What kind of foundation do you use?

I think the flat top kabuki would do a great job :)

A flat foundation brush ( and I mean the flat ones, not flat tops) actually give the most coverage as you are literally just painting your face with your foundation. However, I prefer those for areas that need concealing. For all over the face, a flat top dense kabuki brush works wonders. You buff it in circular motions at first and stipple (stippling provides amazing coverage)

I agree with where Hannah is going. What foundation do you use? Because I use the beautyblender with my Cover FX foundation and my Kat Von D foundation (two of the thickest foundations, known for their extreme coverage) and I the BB allows me to add layer after layer of the foundation. A brush would have me looking like a cake face after the first or second layer lol.
Also, for acne, I would say stick to the BB because it won't rub foundation over your acne. Just make sure you're washing it frequently.
Lastly, I have tried the Estée Lauder Maximum Coverage Foundation and it's great. Alma has shown it cover her freckles and it's amazing!
Just things to consider :)

I use bars sheer foundation, buxom weightless foundation, shisheido dual balancing foundation and shisheido perfect refining foundation and renay those flat ones are what freaks me out!! but I think I have a tiny concealer one I'll try what you suggested and uses the flat top kabuki and give brushes another chance since my skin is more hydrated I won't need the water from the sponge anymore.

I like using a flat top stippling brush and blending it in a circular motion.

Is your skin dry? Because I don't know if you know this but you're using sheer or less coverage foundations. If the formula is what scares you, you can try adding a bit of a face oil to your foundation of you get a thicker one.

The ones I have can be built up to a medium coverage and that's what I want and my skin use to be dry and now its not.
