I've heard SO many good things about beauty blender sponges but I just wanted to double check to see if these little sponges are actually better then normal sponges. What do you ladies think?

I have the real techniques miracle complexion sponge which is 5.99 online or at stores like harmons and its honestly the same exact thing. it dampens the same and isnt hard like the ones at the drug store. it has a little bit of a different shape but in my opinion its even more useful :)

I think they are. I was totally skeptical before I bought one. So much so, that I bought like every "dupe" and ended up throwing like all of them away lol. Then I got the double pack one day and there was no going back. It's texture, form/shape, flexibility and size is perfect for me. It's honestly made some of the hardest to work with foundations amazing lol. I have repurchased it many times and I will continue to do so :)
Btw, the best "dupe" I have found is the soho double sided one. It does take 2x the amount of time but it's not terrible. It also doesn't expand as much as the beautyblender but it feels better than the other sponges.

I actually just got the real techniques miracle complexion sponge too and although I haven't tried the beauty blender I will recommend this because I found the shape super easy to work with, so far I've only used the flat side and it gets everywhere it needs to. When it's damp it's super soft and bouncy too, just be careful when you're washing it that you don't wring it out, just sortof squish it otherwise you could tear it. :) it's pretty useful, I haven't reached for my brushes since I've got it yet.

I actually really didn't like it, it didn't feel clean enough to me no matter how much I washed it. It did make my foundations look good though and they mostly blended out easily.

Dupes are just that dupes a imitation but they never compare to the real thing I've tried many dupes but once I tried the BB none ever compared I say go for the real thibg and don't waste your money on dupes cuz you will be throwing your money away

The real techniques one works just as well.

I use the Real Techniques makeup sponge and its honestly the same thing as the BB but it has a different shape, which I find to be super useful! Don't waste your money on a BB when you can get a perfectly good dupe for $6.
