I have a ton of split ends!! Everybody says I should get a trim but I really don't want to what should I do?!

If you don't trim them they'll just split further up the hair shaft, which in turn will cause you to have to cut off more when you do decide to.

Basically you don't have any other options. Split ends can't be repaired, only prevented. I get trims frequently, and it helps my hair grow. Your split ends don't make your hair any longer. They actually make your hair shorter by traveling up the hair shaft, which sucks!

I had really bad ends and they were dry and horrible so four weeks ago I got them all cut off like 4 inches and my hair was up to my shoulders which I was upset about but then I started using a shampoo called alpecin which done wonders for my hair and made it stronger and longer, now my hair is up to my bra strap on my back and this shampoo is only £7 and I recommend it! Hope this helped :)

And no even if you do get a trim, it won't make your hair " grow faster " from getting a trim, your hair grows from the top of your head, not from the ends (:
