I'm trying to grow my hair out longer but I can't find something that's fast, effective, and doesn't have harsh chemicals. I've tried mane and tale over the past 4 months and my hair has grown about maybe 3 inches, but it's been giving me dandruff. Anybody have any ideas?

Mane n tale isn't actually good for your hair, it's not Ph balanced for hair and is full of wax so it weighs your hair down giving the impression of growth.
Nothing in particular is going to work miracles, though there is something I've been looking into that's supposed to help hair "grow past a certain length" it's a treatment from lee stafford and comes in a pink tub. Though I don't know how effective it is, I have seen good reviews though.
When it comes down to it, the only thing that's proven to work is keep your hair at it's healthiest, eat healthy.

When I went to the hair dressers ( 5 weeks ago ) they cut my hair super short and up to my shoulders which I hated, but then I used a shampoo called alpecin and it's made my hair grow from my shoulders to below my bra! It's £7 in drugstores

Massaging the shampoo into your scalp can really help a lot, my hair is nearly to my hips now.
