How do I stop from my foundation or any makeup clinging do my dry areas, or spots? And how do I get rid of spots, they're only on my forehead.

Jojoba Oil is excellent for dry skin. You may also want to use a hydrating primer. I'd also suggest CeraVe face wash and exfoliating with Philosophy's Microdelivery Wash.

There was another thread about the best foundation for dry skin that had a similar slant. The general upshot was that you should improve the skin rather than worry about trying to find a makeup that won't cling.
I get dry spots in the winter and I've managed mine by using a very heavy moisturizing cream at night (using Paula's choice moisture boost right now), or an oil treatment, (coconut oil if your skin will tolerate it) and then using a couple layers of light moisturizer in the morning (using Paula's choice earth sourced) but there are other great day moisturizers that soak in fast and allow for multiple applications in a short amount of time. Avoid BB cremes as I think they tend to cling to dry spots. I don't know why, you'd think the opposite would be true since they usually have moisture added. And an exfoliant helps too, as Rozberry said. because it will get rid of the dead skin that builds up in a dry area. Paula's Choice has some really gentle exfoliants that work with dry skin. All the PC products are around $20-$30 each, which is pretty reasonable for higher end skin care products. For drugstore skin care lines, The Boots Expert line is very affordable and has exfoliant, toner, cleanser and lots of moisturizers. A lot of drugstore products hide their exfoliants in their blemish reducing products, so look at acne creams and blemish reducers, and look for ingredients like BHA. Weirdly enough there is a dandruff shampoo (Neutragena t-gel clean scalp) that has 2% salicylic acid (BHA) which works amazingly well and doubles as a cleanser since it is a shampoo. I used that for a long time before I broke down and bought the PC skin care line.

Thank you! This really helped and I do not use bb creams since they go cakey on my skin and they dry out my skin, and I'll have to go check them products out!:)
