Would they let you cover it with like a big bracelet or something? just thinking that would be easier then makeup.

Breezy B.
I think they would.

How big is your tattoo, would it hide beneath a sleeve?
Dec 2, 2014
Lisa W.
Sleeves work but I'm trying to find something that works in spring/summer when sleeves are not an option

Makeup is going to take layers and be a pain every day, why not do a wrap like Sabrina's first picture? That's the most realistic option

Lauren g. Has a very good point and idea.

That would be the easiest but not an option
a little background... I'm a manager at a fast food restaurant we are getting new owners that don't allow visible tattoos I have my daughters name on my wrist... for the cooler & winter months long sleeves are great I'm looking into the warmer spring & summer months where it won't be an option to wear sleeves to hot in the kitchen I realize make up will be time consuming but I don't want to have to wear a blue bandage everyday so here I am looking for drug store make up that could / will cover it
so there is my story folks appreciate all your ideas :-) :-)

Sorry it's pretty cold here at the moment (yay winter) and in the summer it's hot but really windy and central air is always frigid. So I'm usually in long sleeves anyway or with a cardi.

I have a tattoo my husband hates so when I'm trying to be extra sweet and sexy for him I'll use the glamoflouge (er how ever that's spelled) and cover it for him.
It works really well, but with in 20 minutes it was all rubbed off, granted there was friction there 😉 but I'm just thinking about the heat and sweat and it melting... I'd also look into a really good setting powder or spray...
My uncle used hairspray on one if his tattoos once when he had to go to a formal dinner (it's on his neck) and he said it worked really well. But I don't know about hair spray by your hand which will likely handle food...
Sorry I'm not very helpful just kind of rambly... Haha

Oooh! What about a Lacey bracelet?? You could diy it and lace will hide the loops in writing and it's feminine and not jewelry also it's pretty :)

Gloves are worn so friction just not the same kind haha but glamoflage works at least short term so I guess I'll just be re applying it on breaks!! and miss raylene that is so sweet haha what a good wife ;-) ;-) ;-)

Haha thanks Lisa :) I'm eventually going to cover it up with a lace bird but we just don't have the money, damn they are expensive haha.
Any way good luck on your search for the perfect covering :) and hopefully the new owners aren't too uppity and relax in a bit

Mao drug store products will cover it. If it's black and in such a mobile area you'll have to go professional. I recommend just going for the big guns and getting a tattoo cover make up.
Dermablend , amazing cosmetics and cover fx. You'll also need a special setting spray or powder to make sure it doesn't rub.
To be honest tho, being in your wrist it's more than likely going to rub. I would go get an ace bandage. They can't keep you from wearing those. Or taping your wrist.

*no drugstore products
Sorry, weird typo.

Dermablend like anna said is amazing I use that for my tattoos on my chest when I have to, but it is kinda pricey it can be bought at ulta. I don't know of any drug store products that will cover them. You could also try going to like a costume store that sells stage makeup I used to use that many many years ago for the one on my sholder (:

Yeah I mean they can't say you can't wear an ace bandage. Wish a wrist tattoo wasn't such a big deal anway...geez it's almost 2015 no one cares haha.
