I heard that pouring beer on my hair would make it healthier? True or myth? I could just look it up, but I wanted to see if there were any personal experiences.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I would think that would REALLY dry your hair out. Definitely wouldn't try it lol.

Lol, I was thinking the same thing.. since it's so dehydrating to the body, you know? But I dunno..

You know Beer was actually used as almost a replacement of hairspray back in the 50's and 60's.I know it sounds strange but they used it lol as for making hair healthy I'm not sure but I've heard of that and I actually wouldn't doubt that something was used like that back then too.

Well I could definitely see it working as a hairspray, but as for making hair healthier, I doubt it. Who knows though! That's one myth we never touched in cos haha. :)

Well at least you asked the question here and could possibly have a conversation about it and get feed back if it's true or not.Sometimes I think so many want things to really work they keep obsessing over it and believe it's working but in all it's just the natural growth of the hair.Did she say it was a certain beer used?

I would assume it would dry your hair since beer has alcohol in it but I could be wrong

I tried it once...😂 it said that you had to open up a beer and leave it overnight to get rid of something, can't really remember what but anyway I left it overnight and put in on my hair after I washed and conditioned my hair and when it dried it was so soft and less frizzy? I was like whuttt haha. oh and I didnt experience any beer smell lingering on my hair after luckily hahah. try it!

Beer wouldn't be that drying, I imagine. It's not like you drink a beer and are severely dehydrated lol it takes quite a few to do that. Beer actually has a lot of redeeming qualities for our bodies believe it or not. I'd try a dark rich beer like Guinness.

I might try it :)

Pouring beer make the ha?are growth if you use it everyday during one or two month. And it's not like the beer you drink in pubs or at home. Combined with castor o?l and argan o?l is really good. and pouring beer can be eaten you also have like pills to take 3time a day.
