You can try a coconut oil hair mask warmed up or just out the jar. Rub some all over your scalp and ends and leave it on for a couple of hours or overnight. Then shampoo twice whenever you wash it off so your hair doesn't feel oily.

You can also try a banana hair mask just chop up a banana and mash it until there's no chunks.

Lastly try a thickening shampoo but I'm not to sure if those actually work lol so I wouldn't be able to recommend a brand.

Ouch!! Your hair is screaming for moisture. I have curly thick hair and I did spend some years straightening it with a flat iron and I can remember after quitting the heat it took a long time to get my curl pattern back and it was super thin in spots. Coconut oil is great but on hair its merely acts as a sealant. You'd want to use a leave in conditioner and then apply a light amount of coconut oil but by itself its not that beneficial. An affordable leave in conditioner that I love and personally use is As I Am Leave In conditioner. It can be found at Sally's. Its light but not heavy and thick so it won't weigh your hair down making it even more thinner than what probably already is. And its also safe for color treated hair. Another conditioner that sits on the higher end of the spectrum...and something I used to use as well to revitalize my hair from the heat is Phyto 9 Daily Ultra-Nourishing Cream. It is geared towards ultra dry hair and is plant based. A little goes a long way and the ingredients list isn't massive so you know you are getting concentrated goodies. You should be able to get the line at ULTA. I know some Sephora locations carry the line. Also you want to avoid using sulfate based shampoos if you aren't already doing so. Jojoba oil is also great to apply on the scalp because if you hair is dry its guaranteed that your scalp is dry as well since no natural oils are coming down the hair shaft. A little bit goes a long way so this isn't something you want to shower down on your scalp.

I still have my curls some what well when they want to lol if I leave my hair curly it looks like I have so much hair but once it's straighten you can really notice how thin it really is.
