Run a wash cloth in warm/hot water and just compress it on your eye. Keep doing that and swelling should go down. Also don't use makeup it'll just make it worse.

I used to get those all the time! Yeah, I'd toss any makeup year came in contact with your eye and put some hot compresses on your eye. They also make an ointment called stye that I apply to the area with a qtip. Works well for me!
