I was wondering, does well water change all hair colors or just hair that has been dyed??

My hair is dyed and we use well water, it hasn't changed my hair at all.

I think it's more noticeable if your hair is blonde or light brown. Idk if that is for natural or just dyed hair tho😔

I think its the shampoo that changes it not the water.

I've been light brown and blonde as well.. it's never changed my hair color. My natural color is dirty blonde, it didn't change that either. I've been using well water for 17 years.. it never changed my hair color. So I don't know :/

Their well water isn't clean then. They're missing their filter or they don't even have one. Well water doesn't change the color of your hair.

Lol no it doesn't, I know from experience, and you can Google it and you'll find the same thing I just said. But okay.

Well water can turn blonde hair brassier faster than city water, but it doesn't change the color of your hair. All blondes eventually turn brassy. They just need a purple shampoo. The minerals in well water can build up on your hair, moisturizer and strengthen or dry it out depending on the minerals in it. But it can't physically change the color of your hair. It might fade faster, or it could just cause you to use more shampoo due to the buildup. It's hard to measure unless you go x amount of months with well water, dye your hair the same color and go x amount of months with city water.

You ask for opinions, we gave em and then you blew em off. then basically answered your own question. I'm with Alyx try a purple for the brassyness

No offense but what's your point in asking a question when you're just going to deny people's answers? I don't understand.

The minerals are probably making the color brassy like Alyx suggested.
