My friend recently got diagnosed with cancer, and tomorrow night there is a get together for him. I was wondering if there are some nail designs I can do. I want to include the cancer sign. thanks so much ladies!

Don't you thonk if he just got diagnosed he wouldn't want someone actually reminding hom he's got it with symbols on nails clothing ect?? I just feel like it a very sensitive subject and shouldnt be moked.

I don't think it's mocking as she isn't trying to taunt or poke fun at the diagnosis. She is trying to show her support in some way. I strongly doubt she is coming from a negative place. Delaney, I commend you for your selflessness and wanting to support your friend during this tough time. I like all of the suggested designs. Prayers going out to you and your friend!

Yes, lavender purple is for all cancers. I agree with Tonita, I don't feel as if she's mocking. There's tons of people with cancer who come to Rely For Life, and it's all cancer themed. It's reminding them that they're strong people and that we're all by their side supporting them. Prayers to your friend honey.

The get together itself will remind him of his illness but also all the people in his life there to support him:) When my mom was sick we got our nails done with pink ribbons and wore matching hope bracelets for what felt like eternity lol!
