Don't sleep with your hair up. Actually try to wear as few elastics as possible and never tie it up wet. A loose braid or low loose pony or pigtails would probably work

I always sleep with my hair in a high bun...loose and with a scrunchie haha. my half is in great condition! breeze, yes, I speak from experience haha

If you do a high bun or any type of pony tail use a silk scrunchy or a normal scrunchy because they are less hard and tight on your hairn.
