Bleaching your hair is extremely traumatizing to your hair. In order for the bleach to get to the color molecules in your hair strands it needs to lift the cuticle layer of your hair. so between the lifted cuticle layer and the loss of your pigment your hair is left totally altered from what it was before. try a hot oil treatment. v05 makes one ive used at home before it worked pretty well....there really isnt anything you can do to make your hair feel the same as it was before the bleaching process. just keep up with your trims ever 6 to 8 weeks to cut off any split ends and use a heat protecting product especially on the bleached parts whenever you use heat to dry or style your hair. you can also try not washing your hair everyday and combing with a wide toothed comb to help bring some of your heads natural oils down to the shaft and ends of your hair...hope this helps! Any questions you can contact me on my page. Im a cosmetologist and i LOVE to help!

Funny thing is I learned how to bleach and relax my hair. lmao but there was a learning curvr for me being african american. Don't sleep on the protein treatment though just don't over do it with the protein treatments while getting your hair back healthy.

HOLY YES IT DOES.
So I bleached my hair my freshmen year, wanting to go blonde.
I left it on for 30 minutes, and my hair turned into the consistency of ramen noodles, and it even looked like it. It was highlighter yellow at the scalp... White at the ends and it just broke off. I had to get a pixie cut after. If you are ever going to bleach your hair or even part of it, I suggest seeing a professional. Sure many are successful with their diy bleaching at home, but for the sake of your hair avoid bleach or see a professional love.
