I need foundation help!

I always put powder foundation on over liquid foundation so it will stay. But I don't know if I'm really supposed too :P what do you girls suggest on doing?

You are doing it right. That makes for better coverage. I usually just apply powder foundation because here in Hawaii it is a little warm and I tend to sweat so I prefer to not feel cakey and just apply the powder. At night I do both. You can also just apply liquid foundation without adding power. Either way is right. If you like the results there is nothing you are doing wrong:)

Nutragena shine control powder. It's translucent and sets your foundation or Remmel also makes a sheer setting powder.

It all depends on your preference. Personally, I dont use pressed powder foundations, unless I am wearing them as a foundation alone. If I set my makeup I gravitate towards a loose powder, and in the summer I will sometimes use MSFN by MAC since I am more oily.

Try hourglass mineral veil primer under your foundation. The bomb!
