Well give people more than 2 hours to reply.
As for drugstore foundations I have yet to find one that was light and that worked. Only my tarte bb tinted primer works for me and it is all I use

What's your skin type?
I personally would try something higher end. every drug store foundation I've ever used - which is quite a few from multiple brands - has always caked up & left me feeling oily & greasy. I don't know :s

Don't mix foundation with cream. No need. You can buy a BB cream, or I recommend my fav foundation Rimmel Wake me up, gives you coverage, healthy glowing skin look and is hydrating a bit.
