I do it on a few days old hair. have someone help you because it's easy to miss spots in the back.

There is no right or wrong way. clean hair or 2nd day hair does not make a difference. the only thing I would be concerned about is washing right before since scrubbing (shopping) can irritate your scalp and cause small abrasions.

No. Do it on second or third day hair. Apply your dye. Put a grocery bag or dye cap and apply heat with a hair dryer. Rinse after the correct time with cold water to help it last longer. Hope I helped! Xoxo~ Kenna 💕💎

DO NOT APPLY HEAT TO BOX COLOR. please, it can have a sever reaction with the metallics and salts in the dye. the heat from your scalp is all it needs. hair color (with the exception of bleach) does not need heat to process. it will process on its own at room temperature.

Oh, I use a vegetable based dye. Heat helps it process better (:
