Ok I have NEVER EVER heard about the beer...Is that even safe? I wouldn't try it but I would look it up to get more information about it

I've heard about beer and have tried it actually. I didn't notice a difference really and I didn't enjoy it because I don't really like beer so... :P Waste of beer really.
I've also heard of hot oil treatments (I've seen a VO5 one in store) and have heard good reviews on them but I'm not too sure about the one you're talking about.

I don't really know as I've never used a hot oil treatment myself but I use a bit of argan oil on my hair after washing it and find that I have to be really careful about applying too much as I do find it can weigh hair down as I have finer hair.

But what you do is you take some coconut oil, heat it in the microwave, and massage it into your scalp and your hair strands. then either put it in a braid or a bun (I like bun gets it off your neck) and go about your daily routine. If you really want a hair makeover, sleep in it on an old pillowcase and rinse it out in the morning. You won't even recognize your own hair it'll be mega shiny and volumized and smooth like no need for conditioner for a week! you can use olive oil but it's not as good as coconut oil in my opinion because your roots don't absorb it as fast. make sure you really rub it in though your hair will soak it up and who doesn't love a head massage?

If you've got thin hair then I wouldn't recommend any oil treatments at all
The process of puttin it in them washing it out is breakage hell
This is coming from a girl with fine hair that has tried oil treatments
