Okay so my face has been broken out pretty bad for a year. The year before that it was broken out but not nearly as bad. For about 6 months I went on epiduo, as prescribed by my dermatologist, and after 2 weeks my face was clear. But after that it went straight back to broken out. After epiduo I went on a prescription for two weeks along with a topical lotion prescribed by my dermatologist again. And just like before it worked for two weeks and then didn't work anymore. I am 15 so I know acne is common but I'm looking to get rid of it more long term. I have heard great things about acutane and my cousin went on it and her face is completely clear now. I was wondering you ladies opinions on it, if it is worth it, should I do it. My dermatologist said it was an option we could try. Or any tips on how to get rid of acne/ skin care tips. Thank you in advance! <3.

Using Epiduo and a lotion with AHA (I'm pretty sure Eucerin has one, but my favorite is by St. Ives, though it's hard to find) almost completely cleared my acne. Unfortunately it came back after about a year, but I know that's basically the gist of the acne.org regime, and a lot of people have success with it! Your skin might just be getting used to the prescriptions, though it seems like a very short time span. A lot of things can causr acne, especially at 15. Make sure you're eating well (not too much sugars especially, and drinking enough water really helps!) and maybe wait to see if it's a hormonal issue. At any rate, good luck!
