So my hairs natural texture is very frizzy and curly. Its damaged from heat and hair dyes aswell. I used to straighten my hair quite often but in the end stopped because it would never stay straight the whole day. I took a couple months off of using heat then recently stafted straightening it again. Any tips on how to keep my flat ironed hair straight all day would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance girls! xoxoxo.

I had the same problem. I have super thick hair so the only thigs that work really well for keeping my curls at bay are layering Moroccan oil and blow drying then applying the bed head control freak extreme straight immediately after straightening sections of my hair while they're still warm.

I don't know if this suggestion is suitable or not because it is just extra heat, but if you blow dry your hair downwards (especially on the scalp where your hair parts) after straightening it your hair would probably stay straight for longer.
My sister does this, and her hair stays straight for longer than it would if it was only straightened- she also has very thick curly hair.
Hope this helps :)

Products made for straightening hair definitely help. But if you have difficult to manage hair I would invest in a good flat iron. I don't use any product on my hair and it looks keratin straight, one of the best decisions I made.
