I have the same skin type and swear by Estee Lauder double wear! but for something more inexpensive I've been using the rimmel nude 25 hour foundation (had a white lid) and I love it for everyday wear and save my Estee Lauder for special occasions :) hope this helped!

MUFE Matte velvet is my favorite. still need a matte powder on my nose, but it lasts through a hectic 11 hour waitressing shift.

My skin is the same way. Lately I've been using Urban decay naked foundation and so far I like it.

Using the Estée Lauder Doublewear powder and foundation should do the job.

The best thing to do Sandra is go on a field trip to any other makeup store with your sister and have a little test run trough the store. She's getting married right? well unfortunately it can become stressful, you could buy a huge amount of products and still have a unsure thought because everything must be perfect for that day.Make a day of it test and get samples also make sure every product share the sister ingredient's. I how ever do use cover fx but with that product you would need to go in and have her try it out for herself because they have so many finishes for different skin type's and as for Estee Lauder I believe you may have tried that right?

Oh ok well either way it's stressful lol Which cover fx product did you try? have her try it out she may like it.What exactly is she looking for? in terms of the finish.Estee Lauder max is wonderful and great with pictures but here's the deal application is absolutely key with any foundation.I could tell you about a great amount of foundations that are great but what I do as a artist in terms of application is different from a every day person finish of a foundation. What exactly did you apply when you used the RCMA? step by step please lol Sorry for the questions but promise this may help :-)

Sandra if you loved how the foundation looked but the problem is the oil maybe you can try a oil control setting spray, I use this when I go out & also get some oil control blotting tissues. I use the makeup setting spray from urban decay "oil control" & oil control blotting tissues for sensitive skin. I have veryyy oily skin & this helps so much!

Natural fx? I have that one as well. yes that's a hydrating water based foundation that gives a radiance finish to the skin, it's completely different from the other fx foundation it can't be compared. She wants a flawless look? have you tried the Estee max on her yet? and if she wants a down right cover foundation dermablend will do it.but if you want a drug store brand Maybelline Matte Mousse will do it to but I would go straight to dermablend because it's a one shot foundation of full coverage and acne prone skin type's just like cover fx.I use a flat paddle brush when applying foundation also use it with the RCMA palettes. what I also use for oily skin is a full on matte primer and I'm talking about anti-shine extremely matte one of my all time fave is Sephora collection Base Zero brillance anti-shine primer. This stuff is a goldmine I've used it for years and buy in bulk when on sale lol I have hourglass and love that primer as well but sephora base zero is different it's straight matte concrete this primer does its job to beat the oils.As for Rimmel stay matte I'm not too keen on that powder it doesn't really help for some.I use Givenchy powder and RMS Un powder and I to have the RCMA no color.I also have other brands but recently I bought Maybelline wonder powder, must say I was impressed.:-)

Other then that she needs to come to terms with a foundation finish and understand it's not magic but with right application you'll do your best.:-)

I use the covergirl "clean" foundation for oily skin. It gives great coverage and it's for oily skin!
