I have a giant problem. So big that its making my closet over flow! I have a lot of clothes and all of them are in great shape, a lot even still have tags on them, but my problem is that ill wear it once and never wear it again or let it sit in my closet and ill never wear it, let alone take the tags off of it. I am going to go through my closet soon and get rid of all the clothes that I haven't worn or don't wear anymore. What are some places that will give you money for your clothes? I've tried Plato's before and I really didn't like their service at all. And they give you next to nothing for clothes. I think the I was an app that you could sell stuff but I can't remember the name of it. Anyway any ideas of what to do with my clothes? Thanks everyone!

Poshmark, thread up and also buffalo exchange it's like plates closet! Both the first 2 are sites where you put pics of your clothes and sell or trade them!

Haha Olivia I was thinking the same thing. I have a big problem with shoes but I can't seem to give them away or sell them. Although I did just give away like 10 pairs so that's good (:

^ I agree with Jacqlyn. Or you could try selling individual pieces on eBay or amazon.

No it not really a bad problem Olivia, lol. But I feel bad that I have all these clothes that I haven't even worn or worn just a few times and I know that there is some that would probably love it and wear it way more than I would.

Donating them to GoodWill or groups that give to homeless or trans kids could help. I'm about to purge my closet so I'm thinking of what to do as well.

Posh mark is a pretty good website or app
It's very simple, it's like eBay, for clothes

@shawna I've been selling a lot of clothes lately using Facebook local "group pages" for selling unwanted items. Your city/county probably has a fb page/group used for selling things. Sorta like an online yardsale. I've had a lot of luck selling jeans & shirts that I don't wear anymore :) goodluck

I sold some clothes to twice sell ( banana republic and j crew) and got in average $3 per item. cashmere sweaters...wool skirts, silk shells... I later went on the website and they were selling items for 30-40$. I was disgusted. I can donate the clothes, get the same amount as a tax write off, and know that someone that needed them is using them. so I vote DONATE!!

If you donate any, be sure to get a tax receipt as it counts as a deduction.
