Hey Ladys :)
I thought about if no make up is more beautyful than wear make up..so and I ask some guys and they said no make up looks prettier. what do you think about that? is it really necesarry to contour and highlight and and and..?:)

No its not necessary to do any of those things, but its done to enhance your beauty<3 I personally don't care if people think I look better with or without makeup,I wear it because I love it,and its so fun to try different things<3.

I think basic makeup is prettier something natural to cover imperfections that make you self conscious.
like I have bad skin and acne scars so when I'm hanging out with my boyfriend I'm not fully done up but I do wear a bit of foundation and mascara.
I don't think you need to go all out with contouring every day and a full face, but however you feel most comfortable makes you the prettiest.

I love to try new things too :)
but sometimes I like it more without make up ;)

I wear makeup because I love makeup, I don't care whether anyone else likes it or not. I love myself without makeup too, although I try to maintain my appearance on a daily basis because when people grow accustom to what you look like every day, they tend to think something is wrong if there is a change. I don't think any make technique is "necessary" it just depends on your skill level, what you like and what you are comfortable wearing.

I like both sometimes I go dramatic and sometimes I go really simple.

The problem with guys is they don't really understand makeup :P what they would class as "natural" can actually be a lot of makeup. One of my guy mates went to me "I like natural makeup or nothing at all like you have on now" and trust me there was quite a lot of make up on my face definitely not a natural look :p

Honestly I wear makeup because I love it. And I most definitely don't wear makeup for a guy. I mean I doubt they care about how blended your eyeshadow is or if your highlight and contour are on point. lol and truth is makeup does not make you beautiful! And if somebody is going to judge you on whether you wear makeup or not or if you wear too much than they are not worth getting to know your heart. Everybody is beautiful in their own way. Makeup does not define your beauty!! I'm going to keep wearing makeup cuz that's what I love. I love to get glammed up once in a while. And honestly I read in an article that woman dress for other woman and not men. Because if we actually dressed for men we would be running around naked! Lol the competition is always between women I feel. We are always competing with our bodies, hair, clothes, makeup etc. and sometimes unintentionally! :) but hey I believe everyone is beautiful! And it's always beautiful to be you! :). (ok done with my rant! Lol)

Totally agree with Becky!! lol I've experienced something similar.
@Ms. L- You are so right about competition with each other. Suck but it's True! That's why is so hard to find true friends.

Oh yes, I totally agree with Ms L, I read a similar article not that long ago about why women buy heels that cost 500+ dollars. Same concept, of course men appreciate the way we look when we're all sexy-fied, but we are driven to compete on a primal level.

Honestly, I think no makeup looks better, and although it can be difficult, learning to accept and love your imperfections is really valuable and a really great thing to do for yourself. I wear makeup mainly to enhance how I look naturally, and because I love using and wearing makeup, which is why I tend to gravitate more towards neutrals than bright colours. I do think bright colours could be a lot of fun to experiment with though! I love how much of a difference subtle, natural makeup can make to your overall appearance. It can be a great confidence booster, but I also think it's important to be comfortable in your own skin. Makeup shod add to your confidence, rather than being the thing that actually gives you the confidence in the first place :)

I love makeup and I feel absolutely confident whether I'm wearing it or not. It doesn't dictate my level of happiness...but it sure is fun shopping for it.

I think it's all a personal preference. I've always worn a full face of makeup. I don't think it matters what any guy says because they DONT understand it. You shouldn't be doing your makeup for guys anyway, you should do it for you. I think it doesn't matter and it's up to the individual. I'm a beauty industry professional so I tend to be more "dolled up" daily

I feel it's all up to the person. Makeup I feel is there to use if you want. I go without makeup most of the time but I do put it on. That's only when I feel like it though.
Makeup shouldn't be a competition, it shouldn't be there to impress a person. It should only be there for you and how you want. And how you want it depends. You could want full makeup, glammed up looks, natural looks, or nothing at all. I feel it should be whatever floats your boat.

I agree with Kendall 100%. It's personal preference on whether you wear makeup or not. I differ from day to day on how or if I wear makeup, but I really enjoy doing makeup and if red lips or winged liner makes me happy, then so be it. If you want to go all out everyday, good for you. And if you want to bare your natural face everyday, good for you. If you want to mix it up, good for you!(: at the end of the day, it's your face, and nobody's opinion on what you do with it should matter. As for guys, like Kendall said, guys often don't understand makeup.

No offense to anyone but I think contouring is taking it too far. You're creating an illusion that you have good cheek bones, our nose is thinner/bigger, and just creating fake features for yourself. Once you take off your makeup you look like a total new person and I think that's where to draw the line. If you're scared of people seeing you not wearing it, you've taken it too far. If you look like a new and "improved" peeps with makeup, draw the line. You need to embrace your natural selves and not be afraid of no makeup for a few weeks
. There's a line that you need to draw and limit yourselves so that you're the same person with and without makeup

I wear make up because I truly love it, everything from the application to the final results. my skin is really uneven in color and foundation just makes me feel more comfortable. its not nessicary for me to wear excessive amounts of lipstick like I do, but it makes me feel freaking fabulous so I rock it anyways.

My boyfriend likes a natural look but appreciates that I take the time to do mine. He will see a girl with terrible make up and totally point it out to me, telling me everything that is wrong with it. and he's pretty spot on. I asked him what he prefers in general and he said some make up is nice because he thinks that it shows you care, but too much make up is just off putting. oh and he definitely has lipstick preferences too...concealer nudes are gross (in his opinion) and frosty lipstick makes you look like you have a mouth disease (again...his words) and he doesn't want to be looking at a Marilyn Manson look a like in black lipstick.
