I was wondering what you guys think are the best curly hair drying routines? I have found that the best technique on my hair is using a diffuser but I don't want to expose my hair to anymore heat if I don't have to. I've tried the plopping method but I find that my curls are stuck pressed down too much after doing that. Anyway to work it so that when I let it hang down after using paper towels to remove the excess water that it won't just stick to my head. My curls need all the encouragement they can get. I also get a flat top where the curling process stops at the bottom and leaves the top straight.

I've tried over night styling but it's always a toss up as to whether I'll get good results. Most of the time it comes out flat in the back. I've tried switching up sleeping positions but it doesn't go as plan. I haven't tried the volumizing mousse though so maybe I'll give that a go :) thanks!

I have enough time in the morning to do this, but I just let mine air dry. Out of the shower, I wrap my hair with an old cotton T-shirt for about 10 minutes or so, then I'll comb it out, throw in my products, and wrap my curls around my finger in sections to get my bouncy curls. Usually takes a while to get them dry enough to go out, put it pays off in the end as I don't have to torture my hair with heat. I haven't used heat on my hair in months (except to straighten my bangs), and it's never looked better.

I could do that. Sometimes it just lays flat against my head when I do it but maybe I have to shake it out more and use my fingers to help the curl form. Thanks!
