Loooove them. I've had many funky colors in my hair! blue, indigo, violet, lilac, pink, purple... I still have a bottle of deep blueish green that I never got around to use... :(

I think it depends. I've had my hair every color, because I love it. My favorite was a very unnatural bright Blue. I felt so confident with it! I'm so sorry I may ramble but it's so early lol When my hair was blue I met my bf paying COD online and when I met him in person it was the same and were getting married Monday! So I have all confidence in unnatural colors (: My soon to be said one of the reasons he fell in love with me was because my hair was a weird color and he'd never seen it before. All I say love love love!!

I'm the odd one out here, but I'm not a fan. I feel like that's something that most people grow out of when they become an adult (particularly because most jobs won't hire people with unnatural hair). I haven't met anyone my age with unnatural colored hair that wasn't extremely immature both in attitude and perception of the world. I'm not saying that this is true of every person with colored hair, but that's been my experience everywhere I have lived (in California or otherwise).

I really like it really but like Emily mentioned it's something that you do kind of grow out of though not necessarily because you want to. I'd love to dye my hair a pastel colour or a really rich purple or red but because of work I couldn't for a variety of different reasons.

But y'know I'm a natural red head and I really love my natural colour so even if I did dye it an unnatural colour I think I'd go back in time :P

I understand exactly what you mean though Emily :) I too think eventually it's something I'll grow out of, maybe even perhaps am on the road to being over it but not quite there yet lol :) I outgrew piercings first :p.

Olivia, that's great that your mom can find a job with purple hair, but be aware that that is the exception, not the rule. 99.99% of professional jobs won't hire anyone with unnatural hair. It isn't professional, period.
