My nails are probably at the shortest they've ever been from a week of excessive biting and picking due to stress.
I know the only way to get out of the habit is to get another set of fake nails done.
But I'm scared my nails are actually too short.
Like right now some fingers hurt to pick up things and I'm using my hands differently to compensate and they sorta burn when they get wet. 😢

I would wait. if they're to short the acrylics might break off easier. I got fake nails put on my pinkie after I broke it really low and it broke off after a few days.

Definitely I would wait, if they are burning with water you don't want to put chemicals near it, I would wait till they grow out a bit.
