I have super thick hair as well and have a problem straighten it and keeping it straight is a daily struggle but I found that if I use some hair smoothing oil or "shine oil" you can get it anywhere..right after I get out of the shower and use that the blow dry it using a certain technic which you can look up videos on how to see the blow dryer straighten Lol I use the oil everyday and wanted to test something and without it my hair wouldn't straighten
