I'm 15 and I feel like I'm wearing way more makeup than I need! And it's all because I'm trying to coverup acne and dark circles. I wear bb creme without enough coverage so I put concealer on top which is too oily so I put pressed powder on that. By the end it looks cakey and much worse that when I started. Can anyone recommend a product (s) that might help me?

Just wear foundation, they're are many foundations that don't look cakey on. I like my loreal tru match lumi. Then I use concealer ONLY under my eyes bc I have dark eye circles & then set with powder bc if you don't, you're face will look oily & stuff. It's about the same as yours except a good foundation should do the job for covering acne so you don't have to use concealer everywhere else.

Thanks all!! It's not so much that I'm wearing too much but it LOOKS like I am because of the cakeyness. I should have specified... But thanks I'll have to try both of those foundations.

You can also try a mineral foundation it doesn't look cakey & won't make you breakout , I don't know if you're also interested but I am using this moisturizer to clear breakouts & it really works. It's from MAD skincare google it :-) I hope this helps

If the bb cream doesn't do much for you, I would just stick with mousturizer, a good concealer and powder. That's what I do on a daily basis. & if you need full face coverage then I would lookup lightweight but good coverage foundations instead of concealer!

My suggestion is just go with what you want and feel comfortable with I know at your age with acne I wasn't comfortable leaving my house without makeup, but now I am. Everything is different for everyone so do what you want what makes you feel comfortable and you are happy with. :)

I agree with some of the ladies above, if you invest in a good foundation and you won't have to apply nearly as much concealer on top of it. The MAC Pro Longwear Foundation and the Estée Lauder Infuse Youth Perfectionist Foundations both have a high amount of coverage and last all day without creasing. Although, the MAC foundation feels quite a bit heavy on the skin and has a thicker consistency, so I would recommend the Estée Lauder one over that for you instead :)
