I like the RCMA Creme contour kit, Illamasqua's Pigment in Hollow ( Great for pale skin btw..) and for powders I adore my Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder.. The sculpting powder kit by smashbox also looked really nice and smooth but I do not own it so I cannot say too much about it. I'm not too excited by the Anastasia Contour palette but to each their own :)

I know a lot of people like to set the cream with powders! I have noticed my powder contour fades after a while throughout the day.

I love the rcma cream contour kit as well. I'm pretty fair myself. I'm shade 30 in MUFE matte velvet. the lightest is 20. the second darkest is amazing. the middle one is great, and almost matches my skin tone. and the first two I mix for a highlight since ones pink tones and ones yellow and I'm neutral. for a little extra oomph when I'm feeling dance I'll use a teeeeny bit of the darkest shade and blend it in with the second darkest.

I also have to ABH contour kit and often find myself only using fawn. the other two contour shades are far to warm/dark for my skin tone. the highlights are gorgeous though. mostly what I use it for. sorry for the novel lol.

Yeah I was really excited, and I'm a little disappointed now. only thing with the rcma, I find my chin can look at little dry later in the day. but I carry MUFE mist and fix with me. no biggie.

If powders make you look dry, elf has INSANE pigmented HD blushes that are liquid and last all day long. they're 3 dollars. be very careful though. you don't need a full pump for two cheeks. and also I heard that using argon oil as a moisturizer prior to primer is great for dryer skin and gives a nice glow to your finished face.:)

Personally I would aim the triangle more towards the mouth than the nose, but that's me.

I think RCMA will work just fine for fair skin. The kit offers a range of colors and if properly blended it should look natural, especially since application is key. Illamasqua isn't as expensive as well.. I believe it was $15.00 for my creme pigment.
I definitely find that cremes look more natural in terms of contouring, I prefer it over powder. And if you have any kind of acne marks/brown spots the powders can make it look very blotchy. With a creme I use my stippling brush so that it adds coverage instead.
I usually dust a bit of Kevyn Aucoin over my creme if I'm going to be Photographed or feel like being a bit dramatic. I pair it with a highlighter (Mac creme highlighter in Pearl frost ) and everything pops out beautifully.

I don't have any indented scars so I can't say... but definitely go for cremes if you have to choose.
If you have issues with dryness oils can help but not a lot ( I have tried almost ever oil in the book at this point and they are virtually the same in terms of helping with make up ).
However, the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré which doubles as a moisturizer/primer is all worth the hype Professional MUA's make it out to be.
I see much more of a visible difference in my face products with it and love mixing a bit of it with my foundation. You only need very little with it.. I love pairing it with my Matte foundation as well.
